    Is an animal print too bold for a small room?

    This one is not. The beige and ivory sit close together in tone, so from standing height the rug reads as texture rather than pattern. In a small bedroom or entry it adds movement to the floor while still working as a neutral.
    What size should I order?

    It comes in 3'x5', 5'x7' and 8'x10'. The 3'x5' suits an entry, a galley kitchen or one side of a bed. The 5'x7' anchors a chair and side table or a small living room, and the 8'x10' lets a sofa and both chairs sit on the rug together.
    How do I clean it after a spill?

    Blot first. The water resistant surface gives you time before anything soaks in, and for the rest you put the whole rug in the machine on cold and gentle. Tumble dry low and the beige comes back looking even.
    Is it safe for pets and kids?

    Yes. There is no pile for claws to snag and no separate pad to slide around, since the nonslip layer is built into the one piece construction. Beige hides paw traffic better than a plain white rug, and anything it does not hide washes out.
    Will it work in a high traffic hallway?

    That is one of its best rooms. The low flatwoven pile takes shoes and vacuum passes well, the irregular markings break up footprints and shading, and washing it is simple enough that a hallway rug can be cleaned as often as it needs.
